How to Mend a Hoodie

Join Sylvain from BERNINA as he mends a friend’s beloved worn hoodie! In this demonstration he replaces the zipper and mends the torn cuff. We love his technique of trimming off the zipper teeth, by using appliqué scissors in order to avoid damaging the tired garment edge.  Supplies for the job include a separating zipper, a 5 mm stitch plate, a Three-Sole Walking Foot with Guide #50 for the zipper, and Overlock Foot #2A for the cuff.
