LONG ARM QUILTING MACHINE TRAINING + RENTAL

Prior to rental, a two-hour training class is required to learn about the specifics of our Bernina™️Q24 Long Arm Quilting Machine as well as getting tips and and tricks for the loading and quilting process.

LONG ARM MACHINE TRAINING

  • Thursdays, 6-8pm (alternative times available if necessary - call us)
  • Learn to thread, wind a bobbin, and load the machine
  • Practice with a pantograph as well as free motion
  • Learn your way around the machine and its technology
  • $50 at time of registration
  • Class Cancellation Policy: If notice of cancellation is received more than 7 days prior to the day of class a refund will be given

We offer rental time in three & six hour sessions on our beautiful Bernina™️Q24 Long Arm Quilting Machine*. 

LONG ARM MACHINE RENTAL

  • *A two hour training session is required prior to rental (see above)
  • Stop in or call 413.570.4911 to reserve rental time
  • Sessions are most days, 10-1+pm and 2-5+pm
  • Reserve one session for quilt size twin or smaller and two sessions (one full day) for larger than twin.
  • Thread and batting are not included in rental fee but are available for purchase. Your first bobbin is on us!
  • Rental rate is $25 per hour or any part of an hour
  • $25 non-refundable deposit per reservation
  • We are on call during your rental session to help problem solve + trouble shoot!

  • If you have not followed up with rental sessions within six months of training, you will need to re-take the training

Fun variety of designs - free form and pantograph starting at .02/square inch

Custom quilting to accent your design starting at .025/square inch

Minimum charge $50.

WE PROVIDE

  • Approximately 3-4 week turnaround
  • Designs, both pantograph and custom
  • Range of high quality thread and batting, at an additional charge
  • Consulting on thread color and quilting pattern

WHAT TO BRING WHEN YOU DROP OFF YOUR QUILT

  • Your finished quilt top, pressed and all loose threads snipped off both sides
  • Backing (pressed) that is at least 4+ inches larger than top on all sides.  If pieced, selvage removed before piecing and seams pressed open.
  • If you bring batting, please have it 4+ inches larger on all sides than top
  • Any pressing, mending or squaring off performed by us on a dropped-off top will be at an additional charge
